R47 Custom Order

This custom order allows you to choose the material and color of the main body of the R47, as well as the color of other parts. For a description of R47, please click here .

This is a made-to-order product, and production will begin after your order is confirmed (payment is received). The estimated shipping time from order confirmation is 10 business days, excluding weekends and holidays.

The next 8 parts can be customized.

①Main body

You can choose the material and color of the main body of the R47. Currently, the materials you can choose for the main body are ECOPAK  EPX200 and X-Pac VX21/LS21.

X-Pac VX21

This is an outdoor fabric developed by applying sailcloth, which is used in harsh environments. It is a four-layer laminated fabric, with the outer layer being 210D nylon, followed by a string woven in an X-shaped grid, then a polyester film for adhesion, and the bottom layer being laminated with 50D polyester fabric.

The fabric has a clear firmness and stiffness. It becomes more flexible with use. The surface is matte with no gloss.

Features of the bag : The fabric has a firmness that causes wrinkles in the production process. The wrinkles become less noticeable as you use the bag, but they do not disappear completely. The finished bag will have a beautiful shape and will be easy to use. It is very strong and can be used toughly.

ECOPAK EPX200

This is a 100% recycled polyester fabric. It can contribute to reducing carbon emissions by approximately 500g per meter compared to conventional fabrics. It has a three-layer structure with a 200D outer fabric, a plaid in the middle, and a 70D ripstop fabric on the lining. The fabric has a slightly shiny surface and is supple.

Bag Features : Because it is supple, there are few wrinkles in the finished product. The shape of the bag is not as bouncy as X-Pac, but it comes out nicely. It is soft against the body and slightly lighter than the X-Pac version.

X-Gridstop

It is a 200D to 210D nylon fabric with a white polyethylene grid. There are various types such as Dyneema, Spectra, Tunuga, and no brand, but since the specifications are almost the same, we call them all X-Gridstop.

It is soft but strong and has long been used by many outdoor brands. One possibility for deterioration is stickiness due to hydrolysis because of the polyurethane coating on the reverse side. However, this can be postponed by drying it in the shade after use and taking care in storage.

Bag Features : It has a classical look. The shape is soft and not bouncy, and it is lighter than X-Pac and ECOPAK.

 

② Top

You choose the material and color of the backpack top section. Soft and strong Sailcloth or X-Gridstop is used.

※White and other light colors will show through.

X-Gridstop

③Front pocket

You can choose between mesh or X-Gridstop for the front pocket.

The mesh provides good visibility inside, making it easy to see what is inside and easy to remove. On the other hand, if you do not use a backpack cover in rainy weather, the contents will easily get wet, so waterproofing is necessary.

X-Gridstop provides better protection for the contents. When the optional belt is used, it softens the interference of the attached gear with the interior of the pocket. It is resistant to snow and other debris.

 

④Long pocket

 

⑤Pocket position

When viewed from the front, the standard model has a long pocket on the left and a short mesh pocket on the right.

The other side of the long pocket is a mesh short pocket. If you put things you use frequently while hiking, such as a water bottle, in the short pocket, you can easily take them out even while wearing the backpack.

You can choose the pocket position based on your dominant arm.

 

⑥Back panel stitching

You can choose between black and rainbow stitching on the back panel.

The standard model is available in rainbow. If you prefer simplicity, you can choose black.

 

⑦ Top drawcord

You can choose the color of the top drawcord.

It uses a stiff 2mm cord, so it is less likely to tangle and easier to handle.

 

⑧ Optional belt

The four loops through which the reflective cord passes can be used to attach optional belts (sold separately). Snowshoes, crampons, etc. can be attached to the backpack.

 

• Tape width: 25mm
• Maximum length: 520mm
• Belt vertical spacing: 125mm

 

This is a 25mm nylon tape belt that can be attached to the R47. It is sold in a set of two. Please check the maximum length and the spacing of the attachment position to make sure that your gear can be attached.

 

*Some materials may wrinkle during the production process. Also, some pen markings will remain.

*Although the material is waterproof, water will seep in through the seams. Please put items that should not get wet in a waterproof bag and use a backpack cover.

*The plastic parts, straps, and black fabric used for the bottom and pockets are subject to change without notice.

 

Maintenance

After use, dry in the shade. Wipe off small amounts of dirt with a damp cloth. If the mat is very dirty or the odor is a concern, remove it and press wash it with lukewarm water. After washing, drain the water well and dry in the shade. The fabric will deteriorate over time due to hydrolysis. High humidity will cause the fabric to deteriorate faster. When not in use, store in a well-ventilated place and dry regularly in the shade to extend its life.
