This is a horizontal sacoche. The concept is to "carry only the minimum essentials and quickly retrieve what you need while hiking." Its horizontal shape allows wide openings for each pocket, making it easy to access your items.

Design Story

The first sacoche I used was vertical with a mesh pocket and a fixed shoulder strap. I used it to carry a map, sunscreen, eye drops, snacks, and a camera. Thanks to the sacoche, I could access my items without taking off my backpack during hikes.

Since then, the sacoche has become an indispensable companion on my hikes.

However, its simple structure sometimes made it difficult to quickly reach small items. Fumbling inside the sacoche could result in not using it at all. During hikes, small obstacles can become big issues later.

Being able to know where each item is and access it immediately was essential. Too many pockets or dividers make it confusing to remember where things are. I designed this sacoche with a minimal number of pockets, each with a clear purpose.

Main Pocket

• Opening width: 204mm (8.03in)

The main pocket has a zipper with two sliders, allowing easy opening from either side. It also includes an internal key hook.

Belt Pocket

• Width: 105mm (4.13in)
• Depth: 145mm (5.71in)
• Gusset: 15–20mm (0.59–0.79in)

This pocket is designed for frequently used items like smartphones.
The front features a daisy chain for attaching lightweight items.

Zipper Pocket

• Opening width: 110mm (4.33in)
• Depth: 123mm (4.84in)

The front zipper pocket is convenient for storing cards, cash, and coins.

Candy Pocket

• Width: 125mm (4.92in)
• Depth: 110mm (4.33in)
• Gusset: 10–40mm (0.39–1.57in)

The front features a mesh pocket. It’s useful for frequently used items like candies, tablets, sunscreen, insect repellent, or eye drops.

Back Pocket

You can store maps or documents horizontally.

Shoulder Belt

• Center width: 25mm (0.98in), 490mm (19.3in) length
• Maximum overall length: 1170mm (46.06in)

The center is made of 25mm (0.98in) soft nylon tape. This reduces shoulder strain when carrying heavier loads or during long hikes.

Optional Cord

Utilize the four grommet holes at the top of the bag for various attachments.

Care & Storage

Made with laminated and coated materials. They are sensitive to moisture, so dry in the shade and store in a well-ventilated place after use. If the bag gets dirty, wipe it with a damp cloth and let it dry thoroughly.
