This is a vertical sacoche. The concept is to "carry only the minimum essentials and quickly retrieve what you need while hiking." Its vertical shape allows you to adjust the strap to bring it to your chest, keeping it close to your body and reducing interference with arm and leg movements while hiking.

Design Story

The first sacoche I ever used was a simple, tall design with a mesh pocket and a fixed shoulder strap. I carried maps, sunscreen, eye drops, snacks, and a camera in it. Thanks to that sacoche, I could access what I needed without taking off my backpack during hikes.

Since then, a sacoche has become an indispensable part of my hiking gear.

However, its simplicity sometimes made it difficult to quickly retrieve smaller items. Fumbling inside the sacoche could mean giving up on using certain things altogether. On the trail, even small inconveniences can become frustrating, and these minor setbacks can turn into bigger problems later.

It was essential for me to know exactly where everything was and to be able to grab it instantly. Too many pockets or compartments would complicate things, making it hard to remember what goes where. So I designed this sacoche with just the right number of pockets, each with a clear purpose, keeping it simple and functional.

Main Pocket

• Opening width: 163mm (6.42in)

Because TATE has a narrow opening, the zipper has only one slider.

Belt Pocket

• Width: 95mm (3.74in)
• Depth: 148mm (5.83in)
• Gusset: 8–15mm (0.31–0.59in)

This belt pocket is for frequently used items like smartphones. The front features a daisy chain with two loops for attaching lightweight items.

Zipper Pocket

• Opening width: 74mm (2.91in)
• Depth: 95mm (3.74in)

The front zipper pocket is convenient for storing cards, cash, and coins.

Candy Pocket

• Width: 90mm (3.54in)
• Depth: 110mm (4.33in)
• Gusset: 8–20mm (0.31–0.79in)

The front has a mesh pocket. It is convenient for frequently used items such as candies, tablets, sunscreen, insect repellent, and eye drops.

Back Pocket

You can store maps vertically.

Shoulder Belt

• Center: 25mm (0.98in) width, 490mm (19.29in) length
• Maximum overall length: 1170mm (46.06in)

The center is made of 25mm (0.98in) soft nylon tape. It reduces shoulder strain when carrying heavier loads or during long hikes.

Optional Cord

Utilize the four grommet holes at the top of the bag for various attachments.

Care & Storage

If threads start to fray from sewn areas, do not pull. Melt the fraying threads with a lighter and press with your finger to stop further fraying.

The sacoche is made of laminated and coated materials and is sensitive to moisture. Dry in the shade and store in a well-ventilated place after use.

If the bag gets dirty, wipe it with a damp cloth and let it dry thoroughly.
