TATE Custom Orders

※Starting in 2026, the gusset will be increased by an additional 5mm.

This is a custom order that allows you to choose the material and color of the TATE main body as well as the colors of each component to create your preferred color combination.

Production begins after the order is confirmed (payment completed). The estimated production time is approximately 15 business days excluding weekends and holidays.

You can customize the following 9 parts.

① Main Body

Please select the material and color for the main body of TATE. Currently available materials for the main body include ECOPAK EPX200 and selected colors of X-Pac VX21. The back color is visible through the X21 Cloud Gray.

X-Pac VX21

This outdoor fabric was developed using sailcloth technology designed for harsh environments. It is a four-layer laminated fabric consisting of a 210D nylon face fabric, an X-pattern reinforcement grid, a polyester film for bonding, and a 50D polyester backing.

The fabric has a distinct firmness and structure. With use, it gradually becomes more supple. The surface has a matte finish with no gloss.

Bag characteristics: Because of its stiffness, wrinkles may occur during the production process. These wrinkles tend to become less noticeable with use but will not disappear completely. The finished bag maintains a clean, well-defined silhouette and offers excellent durability for tough use.

ECOPAK EPX200

This fabric is made from 100% recycled polyester. Compared to conventional materials, it can reduce carbon emissions by approximately 500g per meter of fabric produced. It features a three-layer construction with a 200D face fabric, a reinforcement grid in the middle, and a 70D ripstop backing. The surface has a subtle sheen and a flexible hand feel.

Bag characteristics: Because the fabric is flexible, finished products tend to have fewer wrinkles. While it does not have the same rigidity as X-Pac, it still maintains a clean silhouette. It feels softer against the body and is slightly lighter than versions made with X-Pac.

② Belted Pocket

Please choose the material and color for the belt pocket.

③ Belt

Please choose the color of the belt used on the belt pocket.

The belt is made from 15mm wide high-density woven nylon webbing. It has a balanced combination of firmness and flexibility.

④ Zipper

Please select the zipper color. There are two zippers on the bag, but only one color can be chosen for both.

We use matte YKK AquaGuard zippers, which provide smooth and reliable operation.

⑤ Mesh Pocket Top

Please choose the color of the top panel where the elastic cord runs through the mesh pocket. For smooth cord adjustment, we use either X-Gridstop or Sailcloth.

X-Gridstop

This fabric consists of 200D–210D nylon with a white polyethylene reinforcement grid. Various versions exist including Dyneema, Spectra, and Tsunooga, but because their performance is very similar they are collectively referred to as X-Gridstop.

Sailcloth

This material is used for yacht spinnakers. It is woven at high density, making it thin yet very durable. When new it produces a crisp sound, but becomes softer with use. The colors are vivid and bright.

⑥ Zipper Pocket Lining

Please select the color of the inner lining of the front zipper pocket.

※Light colors such as white may appear semi-transparent.

⑦ Main Pocket Lining

Please select the color of the main pocket inner lining.

※The inner lining of the main pocket is applied only to the front panel.

⑧ Zipper Stop Tab

You can choose the color of the zipper end stopper. It can be selected from the X-Gridstop color options. If not specified, it will match the main body fabric.

⑨ Optional Cord Strap

You can select the color of the optional cord that runs through the grommet hole.

The cord is 3mm thick and has a firm yet flexible feel. Subtle patterns are woven into classic colors, giving it a refined and distinctive appearance.

※Depending on the material, wrinkles may occur during production. Some chalk markings used during manufacturing may remain.

※Plastic components, cords, and the black fabrics used for the bottom or pockets may be changed to other materials without prior notice.

※Stitch color may not always match the fabric exactly. We will use the most suitable color available in stock.

※After an order is confirmed, changes or cancellations cannot be accepted. Please review your selections carefully before placing your order.

※Available materials and colors for each component may change depending on stock availability.

Care & Storage

This bag is made using laminated and coated materials. These materials are sensitive to moisture, so after use please air-dry the bag in a shaded, well-ventilated area.

If the bag becomes dirty, wipe it with a damp cloth and allow it to dry thoroughly.
