TAMATE-BAKO Custom Orders

This is a custom order that allows you to choose the material and color of the main body of TAMATE-BAKO, as well as the colors of each part, to create your preferred color combination. Please refer to the TAMATE-BAKO page for specifications.

This is a made-to-order product, and production will begin after your order is confirmed (payment completed). The estimated time from order confirmation to shipping is approximately 15 business days, excluding weekends and holidays.

You can customize the following 7 parts.

① Main Body

Please choose the material and color of the main body of TAMATE-BAKO. Currently available materials include ECOPAK EPX200 and X-Pac VX21. The back color is visible through the X21 Cloud Gray.

X-Pac VX21

This is an outdoor fabric developed based on sailcloth used in harsh environments. It is a 4-layer laminated fabric consisting of a 210D nylon face fabric, an X-grid reinforcement layer, a polyester film adhesive layer, and a 50D polyester backing.

It has a firm structure and gradually becomes more flexible with use. The surface has a matte, non-glossy finish.

Bag characteristics: Due to its firmness, wrinkles may occur during the production process. These wrinkles will become less noticeable with use but will not disappear completely. The finished product has a beautiful silhouette and offers excellent usability. It is highly durable and suitable for tough use.

ECOPAK EPX200

This is a 100% recycled polyester fabric. Compared to conventional materials, it helps reduce carbon emissions by approximately 500g per meter. It has a 3-layer structure with a 200D face fabric, a grid reinforcement layer, and a 70D ripstop backing. The surface has a slight sheen and is flexible.

Bag characteristics: It is flexible with fewer wrinkles in the finished product. While it is less structured than X-Pac, it still maintains a clean silhouette. It feels softer against the body and is slightly lighter than X-Pac.

② Top

Please choose the color of the top section of TAMATE-BAKO. The material is X-Gridstop.

*Light colors such as white may be slightly transparent.

X-Gridstop

This is a nylon fabric (200D–210D) with a white polyethylene grid pattern. There are various types such as Dyneema, Spectra, Tsunooga, and non-branded versions, but since their specifications are nearly identical, they are collectively referred to as X-Gridstop.

It is soft yet highly durable and has been widely used by many outdoor brands. One potential form of deterioration is stickiness caused by hydrolysis due to the polyurethane coating on the back. However, this can be delayed by air-drying after use and storing it properly.

③ Zipper

Please choose the zipper color. We use YKK AquaGuard (matte), which provides smooth opening and closing.

④ Snap Button

Please choose the color of the snap button on the top.

⑤ Mesh Pocket Top

You can choose the color of the top section of the mesh pocket where the elastic cord runs. We use either X-Gridstop or Sailcloth for smooth adjustment when tightening the cord.

*Light colors such as white may be slightly transparent.

Sailcloth

This is a lightweight yet durable fabric used for yacht spinnakers. It has a crisp sound when new but becomes more flexible with use. It features vivid coloration.

⑥ Inside Pocket

Please choose the color of the inside pocket. The color of the inner lining cannot be selected.

⑦ Attachment Loop

Please choose the color of the cord for the attachment loop.

*Depending on the material, wrinkles may occur during the production process. Some marking traces (such as chalk marks) may remain.

*Plastic parts, cords, bottom fabric, and pocket black fabric may be changed to different materials without prior notice.

*Stitch color is not always the same as the fabric color. The most suitable color from available stock will be used.

*Changes or cancellations cannot be made after the order is confirmed. Please double-check before placing your order.

*Available materials and colors for each part may vary depending on stock availability. If an item is out of stock, we may ask you to make a change.

Care & Storage

This bag is made of laminated and coated materials. As it is sensitive to moisture, please air-dry it in the shade after use and store it in a well-ventilated place.

If it gets dirty, wipe it with a damp cloth and dry it thoroughly.
