Top

It has a tuck so that when you open it, it spreads out like a trumpet upwards. The wide opening makes it easy to see inside and take out your belongings.

After packing, close the pouch and roll the opening towards the front to fasten the belt. The cord lock on the pouch is flat and the button is easy to press. The cord is made for the marine industry and is stiff and does not easily get tangled.

The belt and buckle are large and easy to handle. You can also use this belt to secure luggage or rainwear on top. Do not lift the backpack by this belt. There is a handle on the back.

Front pocket

The front pocket is perfect for storing hiking items such as snacks, emergency kit, hat, gloves, and cold weather clothing, so you can easily access them.

The size of the pocket opening can be adjusted with an elastic cord to fit the amount of luggage you have.

Front reflective cord

This is a removable elastic cord with reflective function. When pulled tight, it can stabilize the contents of the front pocket. The middle clip has one side of the cord detachable, making it convenient for clamping and fixing wet rainwear or helmets on the outside of the front pocket.

Optional belt

The four loops through which the cords pass can be used to attach optional belts (sold separately). Snowshoes, crampons, etc. can be attached to the backpack.

  • Tape width:25mm(0.98inch)
  • Maximum length:520mm(20inch)
  • Vertical spacing:125mm(5inch)

A 25mm nylon tape belt that can be attached to R47. Sold as a set of two. Please check the maximum length and spacing between mounting positions to see if your gear can be mounted.

Side pocket

When viewed from the front, the right side is a short mesh pocket and the left side is a long X-Gridstop pocket.

If you put a water bottle or snacks in the short pocket, you can take them out even while wearing the backpack. If you can't reach them, loosen the shoulder strap adjuster and lower the backpack to make it easier to take them out.

The long pockets are perfect for storing long items.

There are drainage eyelets in the side pockets and at the bottom of the bag.

The cord lock allows you to tighten the pocket to prevent items from spilling out.

Front window

The backpack is made of a translucent fabric (currently ULTRA200), which makes the inside of the backpack slightly brighter and improves visibility.

Side compression belt

After packing your belongings, you can tighten this belt to shape and stabilize your belongings. The weight is concentrated on your back, making it comfortable to carry. If you put trekking poles, umbrellas, etc. in the side pockets, you can secure them by passing them through this belt. The buckle is easy to fasten and release.

Option Loop

There are eight 10mm / 0.4inch tape loops in total, four on the front and four on the back. You can thread rubber cords or guy lines through these to secure any items that don't fit in the backpack, or hang things like bear repellent or mosquito coils.

Shoulder

Wear the backpack tightly against your back. Pull the belt that extends from the adjuster downwards and the backpack will rise and fit snugly against your back. Pull the adjuster forwards and the belt will stretch and the backpack will drop. Pulling too far will tighten your shoulders, so try fine-tuning the length of the belt to find a comfortable position.

The chest belt prevents the shoulder straps from slipping off your shoulders and allows you to adjust the comfort of your back. Carrying a backpack for a long time can cause shoulder pain. Using the chest belt can help relieve this. The chest belt can be moved up and down. The line around your armpits is a good guide. Find a comfortable and stable position that does not squeeze your lungs.

Waist belt

This belt is for carrying the backpack stably, and is not for supporting the weight on the waist, but it does have a slight effect of supporting the weight on the waist. When you close the buckle and pull the belt to the left and right, the backpack will fit snugly against your back. It is removable. The belt is long, so it is safe to remove it when using it in the city.

Inner pocket

There is a mini pocket inside and a key hook so you can secure your important items.

Back mat

There is a mat on the back to keep the backpack in shape and make it more comfortable to wear. It can be removed for maintenance. When removing or inserting the mat, it can be easily inserted by folding it.

*Depending on the material, wrinkles may occur during the manufacturing process. Also, some markings such as chalk may remain.

*The material is waterproof, but water can seep in through the seams. Please put anything that should not get wet in a waterproof bag and use a backpack cover.

Maintenance

After use, dry in the shade. Wipe off small amounts of dirt with a damp cloth. If the mat is very dirty or the odor is a concern, remove it and wash it with warm water. After washing, drain the water well and dry it in the shade. The fabric will deteriorate over time due to hydrolysis. High humidity will accelerate the deterioration of the fabric. When not in use, store it in a well-ventilated place and dry it regularly in the shade to extend its life.
